Conference Schedule & Information
Attendees are invited to arrive early to find their seats, get refreshments, and engage with other attendees before the conference starts.
The conference will start promptly at 9:20am with announcements about the day’s schedule and other housekeeping items.
Is Old Covenant circumcision the true background for Christian baptism as is often argued by paedobaptists? In this session, Dr. Renihan argues that there is another Old Testament concept that the New Testament uses in its teaching on Christian baptism.
In this session, Dr. Renihan discusses the symbolism of baptism and argues for a close link between baptism and a believer’s confession of faith in Christ from the New Testament.
Lunch will be provided onsite and attendees will have the opportunity to see old friends, meet new ones, and fellowship with like-minded brethren.
In the last section, Dr. Renihan interacts with the main arguments for paedobaptism. The goal is to present paedobaptism fairly by dealing with published writings of some of its proponents and then offer charitable credobaptist critiques.
After the final session, attendees will have the opportunity to ask follow up questions and get clarifications from Dr. Renihan regarding the material he presented. The conference will wrap up no later than 3:30pm.
